About

I’m a second year university student at Carleton University studying Computer Science. I was born and raised in Ottawa. I first started programming around my third year of high school, and I’ve been actively developing ever since.

Most of the work I do is web-related in some way. I’ve been working at an open source startup called Evidence for the past year, which has given me a really interesting perspective on web dev and performant Javascript. That led me to start working on a project called Mite, which aims to be a performant language that compiles to WebAssembly that easily interops with Javascript.

In the future, I hope to continue working in web dev and web dev-adjacent areas, especially on performant web apps and anything similar - who doesn’t love premature optimization?! Some day I hope to grow Mite into a production-ready language, and see it become something more than just a side project.
